| OPTION 1 1 week Workshop Resources: 2 professors, 1 assistant Timing: 1 week Place: foreign university BRIEF DESCRIPTION The one week workshop is mainly related to a critical outlook of textiles and materials from the ancient times to the contemporary world, presenting a wide variety of the works of International contemporary textile design. The theory is then followed by a design workshop where students are required to design their own textile stuff starting from a given subject (field of research). The aim of the workshop is to stimulate student's creativity and knowledge on materials. Furthermore it opens new intersections between local production and international trends. |
