| OPTION 2 2 week Workshop Resources: 3 professors, 2assistants Timing: 2 weeks in Italy BRIEF DESCRIPTION The two week workshop is focused on new creations and sperimentation of pattern textile. The students have the possibility to create and to test textile pattern for to define new possibility of application in different fields from fashion clothes to home wear collection. The first 3 days are based on textile and material design culture: from history to contemporary and a short introduction on the textile market, with a focus on retail and communication. The aim of the workshop is to achieve knowledge on graphic software. During the workshop the students will learn how to create and develop patterns. After than, the students will try to realize the applications and, at the end of the workshop, to realize a prototypes. A final presentation of the results will be held in the foreign institution in a 2 day exhibition and seminar. |
